Cleaning clothes with less water
One thing is for sure, and that is that we Americans use a lot of water. Our water consumption has gotten so bad that we have to have specific days where we aren’t allowed to water our yards. Besides the fact that the ozone layer has become depleted so much and the whether is rapidly changing like never before.
I thought why not try helping the environment and use less water. I bought a new front load washing machine which has all the bells and whistles of a regular machine, but uses less water, and uses less energy too.
My kids are also happy to use the new washing machine because they think its so stylish. I must say it makes our old washing machine look like a dinosaur. The cost however is another story, and if you think you don’t have the money for one don’t put yourself in the hole. Throwing 1200 on a credit card for a washer and dryer combo is nothing to sneeze at.
In the end its about being more green and having a piece of machinery that is a bit more advanced than the last. If you are thinking of getting a new washer, then consider getting a front loader, they are great!
